Terms of Use

You are about to complete a My CWA online programme ('Live Free') hosted on Teachable.

This is for your personal use only; it is a breach of the terms and conditions to allow someone else to access your account or link. The Live Free programme is the property of My CWA and you must not copy, share or distribute the contents with others. In the event of a breach of these terms of use or suspected improper use of this site, we may withdraw your access immediately without notice to you.

Teachable have their own Terms of Use which are available on their site and Teachable can be contacted should you need support accessing your Teachable account.

 

Privacy Notice

We may collect personal information from users of our Live Free Programme in a variety of ways. This information includes users’ names and email addresses when they sign up for the programme, course progress, feedback and responses to post questions/outcomes.


How we use collected information

We may collect and use personal identification information for the following purposes:

To allow us to provide the service and domestic abuse support
We use your email address, name and user information in order to provide access to the programme. We may also use personal information to respond to safeguarding enquiries or to provide support if you contact our helpline.

To improve the quality of the programme
Information you provide helps us to keep the contents of the programme under review, to make improvements and tailor it to our users’ needs.

Reporting to commissioners (where applicable) and marketing
We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our users as a group use the programme and resources. We share anonymous data e.g. statistics, anonymous quotes and reports when promoting and marketing the programme to others and when feeding back to our commissioners.

If you have been referred by another professional, they may ask us for an update on your progress, which we provide as part of our commissioning in Cheshire East.

Referrers will be able to request an update regarding your progress, including:

·       Have you signed up?

·       What is the % of completion?

·       What modules have you accessed?

 

Sharing your personal information

We share anonymous data from the programme, including information from the post questions, with our commissioners including Cheshire East Local Authority and with others for marketing purposes. For example, information about the number of users and the outcomes and benefits of the programme for clients.

 If you complete the forms embedded within teachable, this is collected through our Microsoft Office account via Teachable ([email protected]) and stored within the inbox which our staff can access. Microsoft Office and Teachable have their own privacy notices which are available on their sites.

 

Information is shared in line with the Data Protection Act 2018. Examples include sharing information with your consent, for safeguarding reasons (if you or someone else is at risk of harm), if ordered by the Court or for the prevention of crime.

 

Changes to Privacy Policy

My CWA has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage you to frequently check online or contact our helpline for information on any changes. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.


Your acceptance of these terms

By signing up to our Live Free programme, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not sign up. Your continued enrolment in the programme following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.


Legal disclaimer

This is a self-study programme you complete at your own pace. My CWA does not have any contact with you throughout, unless you choose to call our helpline (01270 250 390). We only check progress for reporting purposes, or unless requested by partners as outlined above.


Your safety is your responsibility.
