My CWA Online programme
Privacy Notice
We may collect personal information from users of our programme in a variety of ways. This information includes users’ names and email addresses when they sign up for the programme, safety plans, course progress, feedback and responses to pre and post questions/outcomes.
How we use collected information
We may collect and use personal identification information for the following purposes:
· To allow us to provide the service and domestic abuse support
We use your email address, name and user information in order to provide access to the programme. We may also use personal information to respond to safeguarding enquiries or to provide support if you contact our helpline.
· To improve the quality of the programme
Information you provide helps us to keep the contents of the programme under review, to make improvements and tailor it to our users’ needs.
· Reporting to commissioners and marketing
We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our users as a group use the programme and resources. We share anonymous data e.g. statistics, anonymous quotes and reports when promoting and marketing the programme to others and when feeding back to our commissioners.
If you have been referred by another professional, they may ask us for an update on your progress, which we provide as part of our commissioning in Cheshire East or via other commissioning with local authorities.
Referrers will be able to request an update regarding your progress, including:
· Have you signed up?
· What is the % of completion?
· What modules have you accessed?
When you submit feedback, this helps us to develop our programmes and market them to others - anonymously.
Sharing your personal information
We share anonymous data from the programme, including information from the pre and post questions, with our commissioners including Cheshire East Local Authority and with others for marketing purposes. For example, information about the number of users and the outcomes and benefits of the programme for clients.
If you complete the forms embedded within teachable, this is collected through our Microsoft Office account via Teachable ([email protected]) and stored within the inbox which our staff can access. We do not typically open or look at the safety form submissions. Microsoft Office and Teachable have their own privacy notices which are available on their sites.
Information is shared in line with the Data Protection Act 2018. Examples include sharing information with your consent, for safeguarding reasons (if you or someone else is at risk of harm), if ordered by the Court or for the prevention of crime.
